Payments are taken through the Paypal system however you do NOT need a paypal account and can pay by credit/debit card.
On the Payment screen press the place order option you will then be prompted to login in to a paypal account or pay by credit or debit card. If the pay by credit or debit card option is selected you will be redirected to the paypal guest checkout screen where you will input your card details as prompted.
